Research Statement

My artistic journey is centered on the creation of abstract objects, where experimentation with materials and the exploration of techniques such as painting, engraving, and object assembly blend in a vibrant and synergic manner.

My artistic manifestation resembles to a cosmic vibration in which colors, structures and explosive impulses converge in a harmonious way. This convergence has as its epicenter the fundamental theme of "Alchemical Transformation". My goal is to capture the very essence of transformation, awakening in those who immerse themselves in my work an intrinsic connection to the process of change and evolution that we all face.

My creative process takes on the nature of a ritual, sharing parallels with the ancient Aztec rituals of extracting hearts. Through this similarity, I pursue in each work a significant transformation that encompasses both the emotional and the intellectual. This dance between introspective contemplation and external inspiration unfolds without the intrusion of rationality, unveiling a magic-laden, authentic process.

I've curated my atelier as a dynamic laboratory of intervention. It's a space where I use unconventional materials and surfaces to communicate profound messages. As the culmination nears, analysis takes the stage: I decode this intricate language, discern its subtle nuances, and reflect on the journey, unearthing invaluable insights gained along the way.

In a world brimming with distractions, the gradual detachment from our humanity has intensified. As a creator, I am motivated to re-evoking the sensory experiences, emotions, and yearnings of the observer, prompting a journey of reconnection and self-discovery.
